Itching to play Guitar Hero but just can’t afford it right now? No worries! If you are looking for a free Guitar Hero clone, Frets On Fire may fit the bill. For the uninitiated, Guitar Hero is an addictive musical console game that has many strong followers out there. Unfortunately, you need to pay around $50 to play this game.

Frets On Fire is a PC game developed by a bunch of developers from Finland and thanks to them, you can enjoy the same experience as playing Guitar Hero. The learning curve for this game is easy, you just need to tap the right fret and pick keys based on the musical notes that flow down the screen (fret board).

Looks easy, but it will get harder based on the difficulty of songs that you choose. It sounds like a fairly simple game, but be warned, this game is super addictive!
