URGENT BUSINESS PROPOSAL
MY name is Mr. John Sibiu, a high placed staff working with Department of Finance & Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance in Johannesburg, South Africa. I decided to reach you directly to solicit for your assistance and guidelines in making a business investment and transfer of US$4,500,000.00(Four Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars) an overseas bank account. Before I proceed on this matter, please note that our communication is strictly confidential. I am currently in need of a foreign partner whose identity can be used to transfer this sum of money out of South Africa to a secured overseas bank account. This fund accrued to me as commissions from foreign contracts awarded through my personal contacts. And the account was discretely set up by me earlier for the purpose of this project but not associated to my personal self.
Presently, the fund is waiting to be remitted from the bank here to any overseas beneficiary account to be confirmed and certified by me. I am therefore contacting you to represent the overseas beneficiary of this fund. I shall provide all the legal documents required by the beneficiary to lay claim to the fund. I suppose you understand that by virtue of my position as a civil servant in my country, I cannot acquire this money in my name. And that is why I need you.
I propose that upon completion of transfer of the fund to the overseas account you might provide our percentage share shall be as follows: 1.30% shall be your commission for your co-operation and assistance in facilitating the transfer.
2.70% shall remain for me and whoever that might be in my team. All the legal fees that will ensure that the fund leaves the shores of South Africa to your designated overseas bank account shall be equal responsibility of me and you.
Furthermore, if you indicate your interest, we shall draft a memorandum of understanding to be signed by you and I and notarized by the appropriate authority. That shall include whether you are able and willing to be my fund manager. Or whether you shall want us to go separate ways upon complete disbursement of our respective percentage shares.
Meanwhile, may I inform you that upon our agreement, the project shall be concluded within 14 official working days from the day of kick- off. May I also inform you that this project shall be carried out totally within the limits of law thereby eliminating any legal implications as that is of
essence. I shall discuss in details the modalities as soon as I receive your positive response.
