This year, the organizer has adopted effective measures to ensure eligibility of buyers and visitors. 300 VIP buyers ( 152 among them from 20 European and American countries as well as 10 Asian countries and regions; while the other 148 from 17 cities of 15 provinces and municipalities from Mainland China) were chosen from the huge registration pool following a strict set of criteria. They will be able to tour the show to it's fullest in search of potential business partners, as well as participate in all events held during the fair. These will include the International Tourism Forum, Matchmaking, Buyers' Night, Field-study in Zhuhai and Macao. The organizer expects to generate greater and more valuable business for exhibitors through more professionalized and in-depth business discussions. Also, in service of this goal, the organizer has improved the buyer assessment system to ensure the high value and quality of GITF 2010 as a leading travel fair. Both the organizer and the exhibitors will evaluate purchasers before, during and after the show to select the fairs top trade buyers. Their information will then be stored in a database which will be passed onto the next edition of the show to maintain a high-quality circle of travel fairs. The Online Matchmaking System devised to facilitate on-site communication between exhibitors and buyers has been further improved this year to be even more user-friendly. Show partakers will be able to register for appointments based on an online information database of all participants. And instead of passively waiting for potential clients as in traditional trade fairs, at GITF 2010 industry players will experience and benefit from new, endless possibilities of truly 'inter-active' business.
