Blog from Your iPhone – 4 Best Apps Posted: 21 Feb 2010 03:36 AM PST Blogging on the run is a breeze thanks to the many iPhone apps designed for mobile blog writing. Like everything else in the iTunes App Store, there are countless blogging apps available, so figuring out which one is best for you can be tricky. We have compiled a list of the best all-around blogging apps that work with multiple blog hosts—individual host's apps have been intentionally left off of this list. ShozuThe biggest advantage of Shozu is that you can update several sites all at the same time. So, you can snap a picture (or film a video), and with one click, the picture and your comment will appear on Facebook, Twitter, Picasa, Blogger, YouTube, SnapFish, TypePad and several other places all at the same time. Shozu works with any version of the iPhone, but also with many Smartphones and PDAs. For the iPhone, the app costs $4.99. iBloggeriBlogger is a very easy-to-use, compact blogging app. iBlogger will work with most any blog host, and has the special features of posting your exact location according to your iPhone. For those who need to post in a hurry, iBlogger is a good choice. The cost is the biggest drawback here, as iBlogger is a whopping $9.99. It is iPhone and iPod touch compatible only. BlogPressBlogPress is one of the most popular iPhone apps, and for good reason. At just $2.99, it is one of the most economical blogging apps in the App Store. There is a free version called BlogPress Lite, so there is no excuse not to try this one—so long as you have a Blogger account, since the lite version only supports Blogger. BlogPress works with all of the popular blog formats, but not the social networks like FaceBook. The app features a WYSIWYG editor that allows all of the blogging features we usually have when posting on the web. It will post to multiple blogs at once, and will upload multiple YouTube videos. CellSpinCellSpin is probably the best value on this list. For $1.99, it packs nearly all the features of Shozu, such as posting to multiple places all at once and uploading videos to YouTube…but it goes a step further by posting to eBay too. CellSpin works with many Smartphones in addition to every generation of the iPhone.
